I absolutely love the Firepod Pizza oven! It is my go-to choice for make-your-own pizza nights and outdoor events. The Firepod’s most shining elements are its versatility and ease of use. You can say goodbye to chucking a few sausages and burgers on the grill. There is now an affordable option for pizzas for campers and outdoorsmen!

Who Is This Pizza Oven for?

I feel confident in recommending the Firepod to beginners looking into their first pizza oven. Every aspect of it makes it perfect for those just looking to start. It is small and compact, easy to assemble, and its price makes it accessible for those not wanting to make a huge investment in their first oven. I would recommend it to anyone looking to entertain and throw a party with their mates. It is easy to bring over to friends’ houses and good for indoor and outdoor cooking.

Specifications

  • Weight: One of the best things about this oven is it is only 25 kg, making it easy to transport and bring to events.
  • Dimensions: At only 45x54x39 cm (without the stand) this oven can fit on most kitchen counters and easily be stored when not in use.
  • Indoor/Outdoor Use: The Firepod is extremely versatile; it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
  • Colour Options: If you are particular about the colour and look of appliances in your backyard or home, the Firepod comes in a variety of colours. I personally love the retro, 60s design; it definitely adds some flare as a permanent staple to your garden set up. It comes in black for a more classic look, and retro colours such as red, aubergine, and light blue.
  • Gas: If you can’t be bothered to clean out embers or keep up with supplying wood, you have no worries with this gas-fuelled oven. It also comes stocked with a pizza stone, heatproof gloves, and a peel.

Where Can I Use This Oven?

Unlike bulkier pizza ovens, you can use the Firepod virtually anywhere. If you do not have a garden, it is small enough to use in-home or on a patio. It is also easily transportable to family events, outdoor get-togethers, and wherever your heart desires a perfectly cooked pizza.

What Makes This Oven Special?

As much as I love pizza, I understand it is not feasible to eat every single day. The Firepod also includes a BBQ and griddle set, making it a versatile appliance for daily cooking.

The oven also comes equipped with a lava stone for hot rock cooking. Cooking steak, chicken, fish, and vegetables with the hot rock method inspires some great diversity from the same old rut our diets tend to revolve around.

Even if your family doesn’t share the same affinity for pizza, they can definitely get behind adding this appliance to the cooking routine.

Our Verdict

Unlike some specialty cooking appliances, this isn’t something that is going to collect dust in your pantry. The set-up is remarkably easy. The only thing that requires assembly is adding the “quadpod”, an optional four-legged stand. Everything else already comes pre-assembled for your convenience.

No matter how you like your pizza, the Firepod delivers. It provides excellent performance for any size, shape, or crust type. The oven reaches a cooking temperate of up to 500 degrees Celsius, the ideal temp for the perfect pizza. You can have a perfectly cooked pizza in as fast as 5-10 minutes. You can make everyone in a family of four personalised pizzas in as little as 20 minutes! Also, the reversible baking stones make it easy to cater to those with food allergies.
