If you’re looking for a quick meal, the Betty Crocker Pizza Maker is for you. It comes fully assembled, making it easy to start using it straight out of the box. The oven is large enough for a 12-inch pizza and the circular shape of the oven makes sure you’re getting an even distribution.
I noticed that the cable doesn’t detach, which isn’t ideal, especially during the cleanup process. Be sure to handle it with care as you don’t want to damage the cable. On a brighter note, you will receive an instruction manual along with your purchase that walks you through:
A quick note before you clean your pizza oven: make sure you allow it to completely cool down before cleaning. The metal plates get very hot, so avoid touching them until the device has been unplugged and cooled. Then, you can wipe it down using a damp cloth and store it away in your cupboard.

The Betty Crocker Electric Pizza Oven is great for making more than just pizza. I have used it to make mini frittatas, croissants, and giant cookies. The results are great and I’ve heard of some users making nachos, quesadillas, among many other tasty treats.
I did notice while using this appliance, that the Betty Crocker Pizza Oven doesn’t have any temperature controls. This isn’t ideal for users that like to have complete control over their cooking, however, it has a self-regulating thermostat. The temperature adjusts as necessary and the dual heated plates make sure all sides of the food are cooked thoroughly.
Moreover, this BC Pizza Oven is easy to use. The ‘Power On’ button switches on when you plug the appliance in and the ‘Ready-To-Bake’ indicator light lets you know when it is ready to use. When my pizza was ready to remove, I was able to lift the crust easily thanks to the nonstick metallic surface.
Overall, I was pleased with the Betty Crocker Pizza Maker and the simplicity in its design. There will, however, always be downfalls to any product. Does it perform as well as a wood-fired pizza oven? Of course not! But it’s well worth it if you’re searching for an indoor oven.
It does an amazing job evenly distributing heat and cooking foods thoroughly. However, there are no temperature control buttons, and the oven itself gets very hot when in use. For the reasonable price, however, I still believe you get a big bang for your buck!
