Who Is This Pizza Oven For?

The Bambino is perfect for those who love to host garden parties and pizza parties. It’s also a great product for those just getting into pizza making and those who want a mobile option. Whether you want to take it on holiday, an interesting picnic, or any outdoor event, the Bambino can go anywhere. While building a traditional Italian pizza oven would take a large sum of money and a considerable amount of time, Igneus offers a solution that’s easy to set up and a fraction of the cost.

Specifications

Weight: The Bambino comes with a detachable chimney and a firebrick base. With the bricks, it weighs just 37kg. Without them, the product weighs a mere 17 kg, making it much lighter than its older sibling the Classico.

Dimensions: The outside dimensions of this appliance are 590 x 570 x 870 mm. The dimensions inside the oven give it a cooking space of 500 x 500 mm. While you won’t be able to fit two pizzas in at once, it’s still big enough to cook other foods.

Indoor/Outdoor Use? It’s small enough to fit indoors, but it’s still best to keep the Igneus Bambino outdoors when in use.

Colour Options: The Bambino doesn’t have as many colour options as the Classico. It comes in three options: Verdigris Blue, Antique Copper, and Matt Black. While not an extensive collection, it does allow users to choose between a sleek modern style with Matt Black or bold with the other two options.

Gas? No gas required. The oven burns kindling and logs.

Where Can I Use This Oven?

You can take this pizza oven basically anywhere. It can fit in your boot and is perfect for the outdoors. You can use it when you host parties in the garden or go to a festival. The possibilities are endless with this lightweight but durable oven.

What Makes This Oven Special?

While the Bambino is not the first of in the Igneus line, it does have features that make it unique from the Classico and other pizza ovens on the market. Like the Classico, the Bambino is capable of cooking more than just pizza in its chamber. It can cook roast, bake bread, or make any other recipe that requires the use of an oven. It can also deliver that wood-smoked flavour when the oven is prepared the same way. It also has the portability factor, even more so, than the Igneus Classico.

This model also has some great additional accessories available that have taken my experience with the Bambino to the next level. These items really make the product worth considering. If you want all of the accessories and the oven, you can buy them as a bundle. You can bundle the Bambino with a minimum of an ember rake and a pizza peel.

Our Verdict

Although this oven is a bit more expensive than other products that are of similar size, the quality of material and the portability makes it a great addition to any home. Reviewers found the price to be justified by its construction. It will last you years of hearty meals at home! Its contemporary and unique design puts a modern spin on a typically rustic appliance, which will look good in any setting.
